New York Road Runners

New York Road Runners is a $100M race and events business that puts on the TCS New York City Marathon as well as 48 other races each year. As the founding Product Manager on the IT team, I lead the roll-out of multiple customer-facing and internal products each year.

NYRR Mobile App

NYRR Mobile App

The New York Road Runners app puts our global running community at your fingertips. This app offers an easy way to view our schedule of upcoming races and purchase entries for you and your family.

The  app also lets you search decades of past results of races including the TCS New York City Marathon. Plus, it provides instant access to results post-race and lets you follow your friends and family members in real time via our live tracker.

The easy-to-navigate menus also allow you to learn more about NYRR, NYRR Open Run, shop for cool merchandise, and donate to our free youth programs, which serve more than 215,000 kids each year. Outside of a pair of shoes, this app is everything you need to get in the action and experience the fun and excitement of NYRR events.

Team for Kids

Team for Kids

One of my first projects at NYRR was leading the relaunch of the Team for Kids website. The site received a design overhaul, simplifying processes and clearing up confusing UX leading to a more streamlined experience for runners and their donating fans.

For much of my first two years at NYRR, I managed monthly agile sprint cycles and capex work streams with an offshore dev team that built and iterates on our Fred platform that generates $80M+ in product revenue each year.
